Adaptive Planning is looking for a proven, talented and highly motivated results-oriented individual to join our expanding sales team. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in remotely managing a large geography with many leads and customer facing activities. You will be comfortable working with Partners of all types. You will be comfortable with the start-up environment where personal performance is critical and will have the flexibility and determination to participate in any activity to ensure success. The Role
The candidate will be committed to providing our prospects with exceptional service and creatively and relentlessly driving business. In this role you will own sole responsibility for sales performance in an assigned region where sales price can vary dramatically.
You will work with our prospects who are typically senior Finance and IT professionals. You will focus on these pre-qualified prospects and will successfully support them to customer status through the sales cycle. Comfort and experience with business planning, budgeting and analysis and articulating the associated value proposition is essential. Excellent collaboration and proactive participation with our Marketing, Business Development, PreSales and Services teams is critical to success. As well as contributing through achievement of your goals, you will bring enthusiasm, expertise and creativity to our company.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Conduct and manage sales cycle process including detailed discovery, WebEx/Live demonstrations, proof of concepts and close.
- Commitment to continually building a pipeline of sales opportunities alongside your Telemarketing partner(s).
- Develop your region through effective partnering.
- Tracking activity and sales progress daily in salesforce.com.
- Be accountable for your forecast and actual performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in software sales.
- Will have domain expertise in selling Performance Management technology.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Equally comfortable in live and remote customer meetings.
- Bachelors degree or higher.
