The Candidate
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated and results focused Channel Sales Manager to develop and dramatically expand our international channel operations. At this stage we have a number of successful international customers and pool of existing Partners already generating opportunities. A strategic goal for the company is to expand our global reach into all markets. We need an individual who will rapidly increase our network and deliver new customers. The candidate will be committed to excellence and will bring enthusiasm, expertise and creativity to our company.
The Role
This position will focus on creating and executing the programs needed to recruit Referral, Value Added Resellers, OEM and other complementary Partners. From that base this individual will rapidly drive activity and revenue. This is Adaptive PlanningÕs initial hire outside of the US and is therefore a terrific career opportunity for an individual with the ability, drive and determination to own this strategic aspect of our company and develop a global and world class channel organization.
A strong track record of recruiting, developing and revenue generation through the Channel is critical. Specific responsibilities include:
- Evolution and execution of our channel program alongside VP of Sales and Americas Channel Sales Manager.
- Own and manage partner support materials.
- Own the entire channel cycle from lead generation and recruitment through to partnership agreement to successful sales and deployments.
- Coordination of training partners to successfully perform sales presentations, product demonstrations and closing of Adaptive Planning business.
- Supervision of implementation certification and ongoing skills development process with our Professional Services team.
- Ensure end customers are successful.
- Driving partners to penetrate target markets and be proactive.
- Tracking activity and sales progress of self and all partners in salesforce.com.
- Be accountable for the channel sales target and forecast.
Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years of previous software sales including channel/business development and management experience.
- Ideally will have domain expertise in selling Performance Management and/or Budgeting technology through the Channel.
- Must have desire and ability to drive success in a start up environment.
- Comfortable working from home office location. Must live in Europe. Ideally multi-lingual.
- Must have Bachelors degree or higher.
