Adaptive Planning is remarkably quick and easy to implement, with projects averaging less than 2 weeks of consulting time. While every project is unique, small projects average just 3 days of consulting time, midsized projects 6 days, and larger projects only 10 days. Adaptive Planning provides several different approaches to assist clients with implementations. The approaches outlined below vary based on the resources—staff and time—that the client has available to apply to their project.
Training Services
Clients that have available staff and time to devote to the project can implement themselves. For these clients, Adaptive Planning makes available several types of training. Free training webinars, which are not client specific, are conducted every month on a variety of topics. Similarly, free online training videos are also available. Finally, customers who are interested in customized training, using their own financial model, can purchase client-specific training courses. Quick Start Package
The Quick Start Package is designed for clients that are interested in assistance with their upfront design, but that will have staff available to complete the implementation themselves. The package is limited in scope and does not result in a completed model. Instead, it is designed to get clients started and provide enough training that they can complete the implementation on their own.
Description: Adaptive Planning will review the Excel model, suggest ways to improve the model in Adaptive Planning, and create Plans, Accounts, Dimensions, Sheets, and User Logins/Roles. The client will then be responsible for creating formulas, entering plan data, developing reports, and importing historical data. One Admin and one end user training session will be provided. Price: $4,000.
Fixed Bid Projects
For clients with tight timeframes and limited personnel, Adaptive Planning and its network of worldwide partners can perform the upfront design work and complete the implementation quickly and efficiently. The Adaptive Planning team has strong experience in financial planning and analysis, and often become extensions of our clients’ Finance organizations.
Projects are typically fixed-bid, so you will know your costs ahead of time and will not be exposed to the risk of cost over-runs. In certain cases, Adaptive Planning will also work with clients on a time and materials basis—typically in situations where there is a lack of clarity on the project definition.
