The ability to execute is evaluated in the Gartner report based on the following criteria:

  • Product/service capabilities, quality, feature sets, and skills
  • Overall viability
  • Sales execution/pricing
  • Market responsiveness/record
  • Marketing execution
  • Customer experience
  • Operations

Customers also point to Adaptive’s ease of implementation and lower than expected implementation costs. Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTIV), the nation’s largest provider of home health and hospice services based on revenue, was able to leverage Adaptive’s ability to execute to achieve nearly $1 million in average annual benefits and 751% ROI while using Adaptive’s corporate performance management (CPM) solutions. Gentiva previously struggled using complex legacy financial planning solutions. “We switched to Adaptive Insights to make a once frustrating and time-consuming budgeting process effortless with accelerated, intuitive planning, budgeting, and reporting with built-in analytics and collaboration capabilities for improved decision making,” said Kevin Bradshaw, finance director at Gentiva. “Adaptive Planning has allowed us to increase engagement and productivity. It is simpler, more people are involved, and it takes a lot less time.”

The Gartner report states: “The CPM suite market is shifting toward cloud-based solutions that deliver a shorter time to value and improved ease of use. The ability to provide cloud-based solutions and vendor experience with supporting these solutions factored heavily in this market study. The second primary area of market evolution reflects vendor ability to provide more comprehensive strategic financial planning support. The third primary area of market evolution is analytics.”

“We believe that our highest Ability to Execute position in the Visionaries quadrant reflects the market recognition and adoption of our CPM Suite,” said Tom Bogan, CEO of Adaptive Insights. “Our ability to capitalize on the market factors, including the massive shift towards the cloud and the increasing use of analytics in CPM, is allowing us to rapidly grow and attract large customers.”
